Note-Able Music Studio was founded by Alissa Bezinque in 2007 to provide piano and voice lessons to students of all ages. We specialize in group music lessons for pre-school age and elementary students. These Music Basics classes provide a firm foundation for students to pursue private study on any instrument. Based on fun activities and lots of movement, after completing the Music Basics program, students can identify 15 note names on the grand staff and keyboard, read rhythm including quarter, eighth, half and whole notes and rests, understand and define essential musical terms, sing part songs, and play two-handed keyboard pieces.
We also offer group and private Piano Lessons to beginner and intermediate students of all ages. All students will learn basic musicianship, technique, and are encouraged to become independent musicians. To become a total musician, students perform for each other frequently, and are consistently given assignments in addition to learning songs to play.
The technique taught in our Voice Lessons provides a basis for singing a wide range of styles with repertoire drawn from Classical and contemporary genres. We have worked with students ranging from ages 8 to 80. We offer fun and flexibility. Even if you just want to improve your singing on one song for a special occasion, we can help build your confidence and technique. We specialize in group classes which enable students to learn music fundamentals while frequently performing.
